UCC Opens Application For Teachers With Diploma In Basic Education, Check How To Apply Here

The Institute of Education, University of Cape Coast has opened application for teachers with Diploma in Basic Education.

According to an advertisement from the institution captioned Application For Admission Into The Three-Semester Bachelor of Education Sandwich Programme, the programme is starting in the 2020/2021 Academic Year.

“The Institute of Education, University of Cape Coast, in collaboration with the
Ministry of Education and the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) will
run 3-Semester Bachelor of Education (Post-Diploma in Basic Education)
Programmes in the sandwich mode starting in the first semester of 2020/2021
Academic Year” the advert stipulated.

The advert went ahead to made it known that, the opportunity is to made teachers with Diploma in Basic Education get upgraded to Bachelor Degree.

“This is to enable holders of Diploma in Basic Education (DBE) to be
upgraded to a Bachelor’s Degree” it added.

Applicants are encouraged to access admission forms online at no cost.

“Applicants will be enrolled automatically onto
their choice of programme on completion of an online form. NO fee is required before
the filling of application forms online. Only those who have passed the Diploma
in Basic Education Examinations will be required to fill the form.
Applicants will be required to fill the online form indicating the programme of their
choice and the Study Centre, in line with their elective subject areas.

Admission letters, school fees, and re-opening arrangements will be communicated
later” it further stated.

➢ B.ED. (Post-Diploma) in Early Childhood Education
➢ B.ED. (Post-Diploma) in Primary Education
➢ B.ED. (Post-Diploma) Junior High School (JHS) Education.
