The Ghana Education Service (GES) in collaboration with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) has launch the Ghana Learning TV (GL TV).
GL TV is a 24-hour free to air channel for distance learning and it will be starting today, 3rd April, 2020.
Courses which will be aired today are for Senior High Schools (SHS) and they are; Mathematics, English Language, Social Studies and Science.
This was as part of measures put in place to continue academic work which came to a halt as a result of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

In a Memorandum of Understanding by the duo, GES and GBC; the Ghana Education Service is expected to produce educational materials for the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation to broadcast nationwide on a free-to-air channel for the purpose of learning for students while they are home.
Meanwhile, the Director-General of the GES, Prof. Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, in an interview on Tuesday, March 31, said in addition to the television, the ministry and the GES, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications, were finalising discussions with the GBC for a dedicated nationwide broadcast on radio.
