SHS Students Might Write 2020 Wassce Without Other African Countries – NAPO

The Minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has disclosed that Ghana might organize final exams for all final year students without other West African countries.

“If Ghana secures freedom from coronavirus and other West African Countries are not, we will proceed and conduct the exams. Officially, we are in talks with other appropriate stake holders”.

The minister made this known in a live televised show on Ghone Tv dubbed ‘GH Today’.

Disregard rumours that schools would be reopening in September – GES

 

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) says it took the decision in support of measures put in place by member countries to prevent the spread of the pandemic.

Many Parents and students have been in suspense in regards to the WASSCE 2020 Exams. All schools in Ghana remain closed as directed by the President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo in his bid to fight the COVID 19 Pandemic.

Meanwhile,the timetable drawn earlier by the officials of West Examination Council( WAEC) has been cancelled.
