PCE’s Mr and Miss Akwaaba crowned

Over the weeks, the annual welcome ceremony dubbed Mr. and Miss. Akwaaba, one of the biggest festivals for level 100’s of Presbyterian College of Education (PCE) took place.

The annual welcome festival celebrated by level 100 students saw the former Faces of PCE, the 2018/2019 ttag national vice president, the 2018/2019 SRC president of the college, the college’s 2018/ 2019 secretary and other college dignitaries and some colleges within the Eastern and Greater Accra(EGA) sector. The current EGA secretary, Anthony Lardy Anyenini steered the programme as the Master of Ceremony (MC) to it final peak.

The Akwaaba festival also saw thrilling performances from Dance with a purpose crew together with some trainees who held the night to make the celebration a memorable one.

Through the hussle and tussle of the fourteen contestants, comprising of seven handsome gents and seven beautiful ladies who showcased their pagentry artistry, dancing skills and other entertaining activities which were all aimed at competing to win the crown, Emmanuel Kumah and Veera Danso became the crowned, Mr. and Miss. Akwaaba 2019.

The Mr and Miss Akwaaba which has currently been embraced by trainees in PCE was started by the 2018/2019 Faces of PCE spearheaded by Naa Shatta. During their incumbency, Dede Asare Maurice and Salia Nadia were the first to be crowned Mr. And Miss Akwaaba.
