The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed in their 2020 manifesto that, the double-track system in the Senior High Schools would be abolished when they are given the mandate to lead the country.
The Free Senior High School (FSHS) policy, an initiative of the incumbent, New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been critique by the NDC for poor implementation of the policy.
During the NDC manifesto launch, the party promised to end the track system and also complete all abandoned structures for secondary and technical education.
To the NDC, there was no justifiable reason for the NPP to abolish the infrastructural projects which were ongoing in the education sector purposely to improve the secondary education.
The NDC again lashed the president for abandoning their projects including the E-Block Schools.
According to them, when these projects are completed, it will allow for expected increase in admissions.
