Over the past day, some disturbing images emerged as some First year Home Economic students from Ningo Senior High-School learning on the bare floor in their classroom due to inadequate infrastructure specifically furnitures.
The striking images show the students from Ningo Senior High-Technical School Form 1 Home Economics Students seated on the bare floor in one of their classrooms due to the lack of chairs.
According to reports, the Form 1 students are among 3 other classes with less than 10 desks to cater for over 40 students. The recent photos of the students learning on the bare floor affirm that the worrying trend of some schools without the basic infrastructure for teaching and learning still persists and Ningo Senior High-Technical School is the latest case to be brought to the limelight.
Per an insider reports from the school, the BBC Ghana has reached an information that, the Ghana Education Serve is making plans of dismissing the active headmaster from his post labelling the viral images to a sabotage to the current NPP’s Free Senior High school Policy.
The BBC Ghana news desk tried reaching the Director General Of education, Mr. opoku Amankwaah but the Director of Educations isn’t happy about the development and has therefore refused to further engagements with our Education Reporter, Amevor Juliet.
