All about PCE’s 2019 SRC Week Celebration

The annual week celebration by the Student Representative Council of Ghana’s priemier College, Presbyterian College of Education is set to commence on 8th June, 2019.

The week celebration which is set to end on 16th June, 2019 carries full entertaining activities which will thrill trainees and serve as everlasting memory and one of the best observed so far.

Below are the final outlined activities of the SRC Week (zoom for clarity)


Speaking to the college’s SRC Public Relations Manager (PRM), Anthony Lardy Ayenini, he told Cedinews.com that this year’s SRC week celebration demands that students are to buy their SRC Lacoste which cost GHC 25. He adds that, if one wants to acquire the SRC Lacoste, the following authorities should be contacted thus; the SRC Secretary, the SRC PRO (PRM) and the various Course Representatives.


The Presbyterian College of Education Excellence Awards which will be one of the biggest nights in the activities outlined will award students whose achievements both academic and non-academic activities have contributed to the development of the PCE community. The award categories which are in two folds, the Recognition Category and the Voting Category are set to award remarkable achievements of Excellence. Speaking to the college’s Entertainment prefect, Eudia Dadzie she told cedinews.com that the recognition category are strictly based on students academic competencies. She added that, the highest GPA of each respective course of study both level 100 and 200 will set the mark for one to be awarded. This would be determine by the just ended University of Cape Coast examinations which are yet to be released. Speaking on that of the voting category, she said, it will be determined by voting and the works of the person. She clarifies that to vote for a category, a vote cost 50 pesewas. She urge all to support their friends and love ones during the voting session so that they can respectively win what they were nominated for.


Pick a nomination form for GHC10 from the SRC secretariat and various hall secretaries and submit to the SRC Secretary, Amoh Berefor Emmanuel.

Nominations opened on 11th May, 2019 are set to come to a halt on 18th May, 2019.
